Abul Kashem, the newly appointed Water Management Engineer for the Trent Waterway System (TSW)informed us on July 28, 2017 that the Water Level Drawdown of the Reservoir Lakes has not yet begun becauseof the large amount of rain we have been having over the past 4 weeks. Many Lakes are still in a “Flood Control” mode.
On Eels Lake, the TSW had removed a total of 2 logs to keep the water from rising above the 25 year maximum. One of these logs has since been put back in to essentially keep the water at “maximum” level and to help with the overall flood control effort.
TSW will keep us posted as to any changes.
